Operating conditions of the roller press

Jul 20, 2026 Leave a message

Years of practical experience have demonstrated that the safe and stable operation of a roller press requires the following conditions to be met:

The feed material must be supplied under sufficient pressure to ensure a stable, continuous flow into the gap between the rollers, thereby forming a dense material bed.

The particle size of the feed material must meet design specifications to facilitate the formation of a dense material bed-with the exception of particles that may undergo single-particle breakage prior to high-pressure bed comminution.

Sufficient compressive crushing force must be applied during the grinding process; however, as the required force varies depending on the material and the desired crushing effect, the optimal value should be determined through testing.
