Cable tray manufacturing equipment is the core forming machine of the cable tray production line, specifically designed to roll steel strips into trough, tray, and ladder-side cable tray profiles through multiple passes. The equipment employs a split adjustment system, with one set of rollers covering all specifications from 100×50 to 1000×200 mm. Electrically controlled automatic width adjustment takes only 10 minutes. It features Cr12 hardened rollers (HRC58°-62°), PLC control, a production speed of 10-15 m/min, a total power of 30 kW, and is suitable for plates 1-3 mm thick and 100-1100 mm wide.

Product Advantages
I. Split-Type Adjustment System, No Roller Change Required for Specification Switching
The equipment adopts a split-type transmission mode, with the rollers on both sides opening and closing synchronously to adjust the spacing, covering a width range of 100-600mm. When producing different specifications of cable trays, only the width parameters need to be adjusted electrically, without changing the rollers. Production changeover can be completed in 10 minutes, and one set of rollers can handle all specifications, saving a large investment in molds.
II. 20-Pass Progressive Forming, High Precision for Thick Plate Forming
Cable trays commonly use 1-3mm thick plates, which are difficult to form. The equipment is equipped with 20 sets of main rollers, using multi-pass progressive rolling. The deformation amount in each pass is scientifically distributed, and the steel strip is gradually formed into the final cross-section, effectively avoiding springback and corner cracking caused by a large bending of thick plates at once. The formed cable tray has stable dimensions and good straightness.
III. Hydraulic Cutting with Cr12MoV Dies, Smooth and Burr-Free Cross-Section
A hydraulic cutting method is used, with the cutting die material being Cr12MoV. The cutting dimensional tolerance is ≤±0.5mm (length ≤3000mm). When cutting thick plates, the cut edges are smooth, without burrs or collapsed corners, and the cuts do not require subsequent grinding and can be directly used in the packaging or assembly process.

Q: Can the equipment process both galvanized steel and cold-rolled steel?
A: Yes. Cr12 hardened rollers (HRC58°-62°) are suitable for both materials. For galvanized steel, attention should be paid to the surface finish of the rollers to prevent scratching the zinc layer; for cold-rolled steel, rust prevention spraying should be applied promptly after forming. Fine-tuning the roller gap is recommended when switching materials.
Q: What is the maximum width of steel strip the equipment can process?
A: The standard maximum width is 1100mm, corresponding to a cable tray width of 600mm (including the unfolded dimensions of the two side folds). For processing wider cable trays, a wider model can be customized.
