The Warehouse Rack Roll Forming Machine is the core rolling equipment in a warehouse racking production line. It is specifically designed to continuously form various structural profiles for warehouse racking by progressively bending steel strips through multiple passes. This equipment uses GCr15 bearing steel rollers (quenched to a hardness of HRC58°-62°), features a split-drive adjustment mode, and integrates uncoiling, leveling, servo feeding, continuous punching, cold bending, and hydraulic cutting. Equipped with a Mitsubishi PLC controller and a touchscreen human-machine interface, it requires only one operator.

GCr15 High-Hardness Rollers for Wear-Free Thick Plate Forming
Warehouse racks commonly use 0.6-1.5mm thick plates (custom thicknesses available), which cause significant wear on rollers. Our rollers are made of GCr15 bearing steel with a hardened overall quenching treatment, achieving a hardness of HRC58°-62%. Their wear resistance is superior to the Cr12 series. Even under high-load operation producing thousands of meters of long profiles daily, the roller surface is less prone to wear pits, ensuring long-term stability of the profile cross-sectional dimensions. The roller's service life is 2-3 times longer than that of ordinary mold steel.
Multi-Point Guiding + Hydraulic Tension Control for Guaranteed Straightness of Extra-Long Profiles
Warehouse rack profiles are often 2-6 meters long (over 10 meters in automated warehouses), making straightness a core quality indicator. The equipment is equipped with multiple sets of guide wheels and lateral positioning devices along the forming main unit, working in conjunction with a hydraulic tension control system to adjust the strip tension in real time. This effectively prevents lateral bending, twisting, and wavy deformation of long profiles during processing. The formed profiles exhibit excellent straightness and can be used directly without subsequent straightening. The verticality and stability of the assembled racks are guaranteed.

Q: Can the equipment process both galvanized steel and cold-rolled steel?
A: Yes. The GCr15 high-hardness rollers are suitable for both materials. Galvanized steel has a zinc coating, so care must be taken to ensure the smoothness of the roller surface during forming to prevent scratches. Cold-rolled steel has no coating, so it needs to be sprayed with anti-rust coating promptly after forming. Equipment parameters (roller gap, forming speed) need to be fine-tuned when switching materials. Cold-rolled steel has a slightly greater springback than galvanized steel; it is recommended to test the mold to confirm the dimensions before mass production. Customers can specify their commonly used materials and thickness ranges when selecting a model, and technicians will optimize the equipment configuration accordingly.
